This year Villa Spinosa takes part in the "Best of Wine Tourism Award 2020" competition, arranged by the Chamber of Commerce in Verona.
Among the different categories in the competition, Villa Spinosa has chosen to participate in the "Architecture and Landscapes" category.
The "Architecture and Landscapes" category has been chosen to enhance the architectural peculiarities of the villa and the village of Jago.
In fact, the 19^th century villa, built on a panoramic position on the high ground of Jago, is adorned with a romantic Italian style garden and bordered by a courtyard and the estate’s vineyards.
Next to the villa, there are the ancient farmhouses, now restored, and the new spaces for the wine production, added over the years by respecting the pre-existing environmental and architectural context. This is the place where Villa Spinosa welcomes tourists and enthusiasts who want to discover history and traditions, scents and colors of the Amarone land, thus guiding them on a fascinating journey to explore the connection between man and terroir.
The jury has already carried out the inspection in Negrar di Valpolicella, the headquarters of our company.
