"Labor Day" at Villa Spinosa

"Labor Day" at Villa Spinosa for a group of friends from Modena, led by owners of the "Tricolore, Italia che si gusta".

May 01st, 2019

A very atypical "Labor Day" for a group of friends from Modena, led by Michele and Elisabetta, owners of the "Tricolore, Italia che si gusta".

About fifty wine lovers, willing to discover the Valpolicella, was first proposed a walk in the garden of Villa Spinosa, followed by a guided visit through the vineyards as well as  a round in the drying loft, the cellar of vinification and the cellar of wine aging in steel and in wood, both in small and in large barrels.
Finally, the tasting of Villa Spinosa’s wines to learn about the potential of the Valpolicella area where, with the same grapes, Corvina Veronese, Corvinone and Rondinella, five wines can be produced: Valpolicella, Valpolicella Superiore, Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore, Amarone and Recioto, completely different from each other. The same varieties, the same territories, but wines made with different techniques: it is the man who makes the difference and produces different wines even working the same grapes.
