On March 1st the traditional tasting event at Villa De Winckels took place, as usual at the end of the winter, dedicated to Amarone, after the similar event reserved to Valpolicella Superiore in the autumn.
As usual, there are many wine lovers, trade operators and journalists.
The wine blogger Claudio Serraiotto has reviewed our Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG 2015 as "a young product, a child, but from old vines". He first tasted it at the Anteprima Amarone 2019 but Villa de Winckels allowed him to taste it more carefully and to discuss it with the company.
With his review, he perfectly described the project that underlies the wine: "the wine does not seem difficult and this is on purpose, the project is for a different wine.The style is modern and looks for an easy drink, finesse and elegance."
Serraiotto has scheduled a new meeting with us at Vinitaly to taste the full range of the Villa Spinosa’s wines.
