The journalists Paolo Massobrio and Marco Gatti have dedicated some space to Villa Spinosa in the Papillon magazine. Villa Spinosa and our Guglielmi di Jago Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Doc have been reviewed in the section "Unforgettable Tastings" of issue 72.
The 72 is a special issue, dedicated to the wines that most impressed Paolo Massobrio and Marco Gatti in a year of tastings. The magazine tells about the excellent wineries of Italy and it is spread online too, to over 40,000 focused wine consumers, wine lovers and operators.
We thank Paolo Massobrio and the editors for the words of esteem and appreciation for our wines, which are said to "tell the territory in an perfect way", emphasizing our style closely bond to the land and the tradition.
Marco Gatti focuses on "Guglielmi di Jago" Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Doc, an important project for the enhancement of Amarone and its tradition, resulting from an intuition of our late friend and oenologist Prof. Roberto Ferrarini. In particular, he describes "Guglielmi di Jago 15 years" Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Doc 1998 which, after an aging of 13 years in wood, "has aromas of plum, cherry, notes of chocolate, tobacco and coffee, hints of aromatic herbs and hints of cloves, silky and harmonious sip”.
"Guglielmi di Jago" Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Doc along with the full range of the Valpolicella wines produced by Villa Spinosa is available at its on-site Wine Shop, "Enoteca in Tinaia".
